  • Our History Poggio Istiano is a farmhouse managed by the Pasquini Franco and Graziella family, with their daughters Cristina and Tiziana. Two generations compared for a combination of tradition and innovation on cultivation and transformation methods, in the presentation of agricultural products and in the furnishing of housing.     Agriturismo Poggio Istiano is an ancient stone farmhouse situated on the top of a hill in the middle of the Artistic and Natural Park of Val d’Orcia. The beauty of the place and our cordial hospitality make the stay in Poggio Istiano an opportunity to get closer to the countryside and its rhythms.

  • The Farm

    In a landscape as beautiful as it is natural, where Franco's hand contributes every day to keeping it intact, on a "knoll" there is the Poggio Istiano farm: 107 hectares cultivated with olive groves, vineyards and wheat from whose crops the our fantastic extra virgin olive oil, the Orcia DOC and IGT Poggio Istiano wines and an excellent durum wheat from pasta.
